Hi everybody!

I just joined, so I guess I'll introduce myself. :)

I am a completely and totally addicted to reptiles, especially snakes. I love fat boids, but the irridescence of the Brazilian rainbow boa is hard to resist! I have wanted a BRB for a long time now, but was waiting for fall, when they is more of a variety available. I was planning on a baby from Dave Colling or Bob Clark.

But plans tend to change. Recently I found a listing on craigslist for an adult female BRB. I'm going to take her. :D I did have a minor crisis involving my other herps and parasites, but that's another story. Anyways, we're pretty much back to normal here, and I'm ready to get my new snake!!! (If she's still available.)

I'm so excited!!

But here are my other babies.

Culebra/Cu was my first pet reptile whom I adopted almost two years ago; she is around four years old now. Such a sweetie!

Barbudo/Budo was an unintentional rescue. He had metabolic bone disease, pinworms, and TONS of coccidia. :( He was in really bad shape, and steadily got worse. I have had him for six months now, and he is slowly but steadily recovering, although there are still mornings when he won't move at all. His vet and I are doing all we can to help him. He is a VERY spoiled beardie. :D He gets daily baths, several hours daily to run around the house, a very large viv, and he gets to have fun in the yard whenever it's warm enough.

My newest addition is Sangre, a baby Borneo blood python. Difficult to handle, as short tails tend to be, but I definitely got lucky with him; I haven't even been struck at!

Aside from reptiles, I love all other animals (especially cats!), photography (even though I suck!), music, and reading/writing.

Here's my kitty, Iraland/Ira.

I also do a lot of volunteer work at the Humane Society. I foster many kittens. I could go on forever about my fostering experiances, but this is a reptile forum after all. Here are some pics of my current litter; five 4-week-olds (older now) and a mommy cat.

Thanks for looking!
