hi
i keep corn snakes (carolina and snow) lucifer & lucy, but i was fascinated by Rainbow boas since first time i see one, they are truly beautiful snakes
i saw a advert on preloved Colombian rainbow boa for 60q 40miles from me so i ring the woman and ask can i see him, when i got there she have plenty of viv with bearded dragons and this one viv with bob (that was his name i didn't like it)lets say it easy way temp was all right 22-29C but humanity omg!! dry like desert , bark was like fine powder, his skin was dry!! probably 40% of bedding was his poo( horrible!)bits of skin where allover the tank in small pices , hi still have skin on his eyes!!.

i offer her 50q and i took him away

got him yesterday and i need to say hi feed, i give him bath, put humanity in to 75-85% give him additional wet-moss hiding box(hi spent all his time in there when i put that in)

originally i was looking for BRB but i cant afford price in my local shop, so i gone for cheep advent because CRB are beautiful as well and when i sow him i felt so sorry for this pour animal!

hope hi will recover fine and we both will be happy

Let my know if there is anything i can do more for him to make him happy-not that experience with boas i did read a lot before i gone to c him but still maybe someone could give my some advice

if my grammar or some words are not right I am so sorry for this but English is not my first language

i am happy to by in this community!! i did read everything what it was on this forum! and i admire your love for snakes

thanks

Sounds good Lucifer - I hate it when people let their pets get into such a state. You did a good thing to rescue him.

Just keep the humidity up to about 80% for a CRB and you should be alright
