Hello!

I'm Ryan, I have a couple of snakes at the moment, but I think I can house one more, and it's got to be a rainbow, they're just stunning!

I won't be getting anything for a few months yet, I need to convince the landlady etc, but I thought it would be a good idea to join up early, and learn what I can about these animals before I take the plunge.

Thanks all.

R.

Heya Alric, welcome to the forum, and very probably a lifetime of rainbow addiction. ;-)

I'm really glad there are people like you in this world who are willing to step forward and adopt an orphan snake -- good job! (Though I'm amazed that anyone would ever orphan a rainbow!)

The small size is not an issue: with good care, proper feeding, and love, he/she will eventually catch up with his/her peers.

Would you mind describing the feeding issuesin a bit more detail, please? That way we're set to help you as fast as possible. We've helped a few poor feeders pick up, and I'm sure we can do it again.

As a final tip, make sure to get any health records the current owner has, such as past pictures, feeding records, etc, as part of picking up the snake. That type of history can really be valuable, but past owners have a way of forgetting if you don't collect that info at the start.

Best of luck, and hoping to see picts soon--
