Hey, i just got a 4 month old BRB and its a really big step for me as I have not had a snake before and could do with all the help and advice, as it seems to be controversial subject at times. I have read several care sheets and done a lot of research and have just got him settled in. he missed his last feed, all tho I'm told not to worry about this as I have only had him 3 days and it was kinda quick to try him. I'm hoping he will eat this Saturday :)

Yes, leave him a few days at least. Our rainbow boa took ages before she accepted food. They seem to take ages to settle in properly.

Making sure you get the temps and humidity right is the key, so doing your research is a good way to quicken up his settling in period.

Let us know how he goes on

best (and hardest) thing you can do now is leave him a week to settle in to his new home. congrats on your purchase!
