Posted - 27/01/2009 : 01:01:24 Hi There!
Thought i should say hello. I collected my brb, Malina, from Cardiff Reptile Centre on Saturday. She is my first snake, but not the first I have looked after. My ex had a Royal python & a Red Tail Boa. She moved out & took Nibbs & Hades with her. I miss them lots. So when I saw brbs at the shop I was delighted & spent the next couple of months paying for her & her viv set up. She's here & my only concern is keeping the humidity up around the 80% mark, as I was advised. The heater bar seems to doing ok on the temperature, but I may invest in a small mat & stat for under the water bowl to help things along.
See you on the boards

Sorry to hear that your ex took away the snakeys- you should have filed for custody
BRBs are ace, once you get the humidity right. Having a heat mat under the water bowl can't hurt really, but if your BRB is owt like mine then Malina will hide under there a lot. Just watched out for it |
