Hi,

just thought I'd mention that I've had my boy for a month now. In that month he has grown 10% and is now 25% heavier.

He is up 3 inches to 32 inches and up a whopping 30 grams to 140g.

He ate another rat fuzzy tonight too. No strike or constriction, and he refused to touch it while I was looking, but a few minutes alone in a darkened room and it was polished off. I just don't think he likes an audience! lol

He's now busy digesting and later on this week I'll be moving him onto his new and bigger home, which should I think last him until he's big enough for his viv...

Smart move, Joe. Quarantine is always good. Glad to hear he's settling in!!!

@Ptm

My BCI strikes nicely, but my rainbow has gotten where I just toss it in there near her head and she gets it in a few minutes. The other day though after feeding the bci I saw her stick her head out from under the mulch so I dangled the mouse in front of her and she snapped it up and constricted it nicely (like she did at the breeder before I took her home). Was nice to see she's "still got it in her".

@Cliff:

The redtail is beginning to settle in now. I have handled him 3 times and he now comes out during the daytime and checks me out. He's in the front part of the house as I'm keeping him clear of my bci and rainbow for a couple months at least.
