Got a few more shots of Peanut hanging out on his tree. Someday I will use a camera instead of my phone. These were taken at about 3:00am. He stays hidden away all day but is very active after 10:00pm. I was using blue LED lights but he seemed to still stay hidden with them on so I switched to Red LED and they don't seem to bother him.

Thanks for looking

Think I'll settle for something artificial. Don't like the idea of it being mouldy to be honest. I'm sure I'll get something that looks fairly natural :)

Awww, he is so adorable! And it looks like he has settled in very nicely. :) Love your setup, too. I may have to go on a search for Marius to get him a branch like that. I'm seriously anti-mold here, so plastic and glass are the only way for me. :D Bleaching might work for a time, but I dunno if it would keep it off permanently (though it just might and is definitely worth the try! ;) ).

Looking good, Jeff! The red bulb also seems to allow better color in your pictures.

Dee, try bleaching your wooden branch -- that may kill the mold for once and all. Just make sure to soak the branch thoroughly afterwards. If that still does not work, switch to plastic or ceramic.

Cool. I reckon that's the way to go. We've got a proper wooden branch which we have to rinse the mould off every day :\ Bit of a pain!! Think we'll try a plastic one!!!! Thanks :)

Dee, the tree is hard plastic mold. Some pet stores carry them. It looks fairly real and works as a hide also. It has two hollows in it. Peanut likes to go through them then set his head on a branch. He spends more time on the tree than anywhere else when he is out at night. There are several different sizes and designs. If you cant find one at a pet store check online.

Peanut is a stunner!! Beautiful. Have to agree with Blackcaf, love the tree!! We have a wooden type branch thing for Arco in her viv but it keeps going mouldy? :/ any suggestions? Yours looks nice and mossy!!!

Peanut is looking great, love his tree for him
Mine always stay hidden during the day and come out at night, but that's all BRB's for you
I have one CRB which breaks the rule and is out most mornings around 10.00am to say 'hello' and expects to come out and play!
