This time it's Tagz (left) who shed overnight, and Dusty (right) who shed 2 days ago. Enjoy comparing these two E.c. maurus :)

Wow, they are truly beautiful! Dusty is so much lighter than Tagz. That's a great picture. Makes me want a Columbian all the more. :D |

Is the difference because Dusty is older, and has therefore had more time for his/her pattern to fade? Great pict regardless! Glad to see the two get along OK. ;-) |

I think Dusty has some Anery in 'm and that helps reduce the darker colours that make the pattern. |

A few more of Tagz and Dusty since they both shed the same day. Tagz is the darker, more patterned individual...

Just Dusty

Tagz and Dusty are stunning - love the double rainbows The 'quad' is spectacular - a tub full of shimmer. Still can't quite make my mind up between BRB's and CRB's (hence owning both) but I do think the CRB's are tending to come out tops. |

lol, I hear ya. I'm partial to Colombians and their closest relatives also. I just like how robust they are and how chill they are :) |

My two CRB's (now 7months) have always been so chilled since acquiring them at 12 weeks old - never once nipping and always out and about exploring early morning and evening. They both come out of their own free will when I open the RUBS - I just love them The BRB's are beautiful but very different - far more secretive (but that was what I was expecting) It just means I don't handle them as much as I hate to 'disturb' them. Thanks for sharing your photos - they are fab and I love to see what my two will hopefully turn into |

Secretive is right, lol. While Mojo will curl up in the open in the snake room if he's out, he's not really into exploring like the others are, and just forget about seeing him until after dark, lol. When I go in the room at any time of day, the Colombians and the Paraguayan all come to see what I'm doing and often want out, but not Mojo...at least not yet :) |

Pretty typical -- mine show only their heads during the day, and only in the mood (or hungry).
And BTW:

I will remember NOT to show too much preference to my CRB's |
