Hey guys.
For a long time do not go here.

Last month one of my had her puppies.
12 in all but two died on the first night.
The mother is Epicrates cenchria "hygrophilus" (Espirito Santo Rainbow Boa) and father Epicrates assisi (caatinga rainbow boa) .... and then a hybrid offspring.

I crossed the mother with E.assisi because the male E.cenchria had not given anything ... so I needed to know if the problem was with the female or the male.

For next year I intend to join this same female with another male E.cenchria "hygrophilus" to take a litter 100% "hygrophilus."

This is the mother:

The babyes

And the another male ("hygrophilus")
.
With baby "hygrophilus"

Congrats on the unusual breeding, sir! Glad to see most of them made it!

I would watch the female's weight very carefully to see if she regains it before pairing her for a second year in a row. No sense risking her health on what would be a small litter if she's not in top shape, especially now that she's been proven viable.

Again, congrats!

Thank you, Snakesitter!

This year the female will stand even. I'll seal it with male next year for the birth may occur in 2015.

Sounds like a great plan. And I'll *bet* she was hungry!
