Hello fellow snake enthusiasts!
Its been a while since I've actually posted on this forum, but in the past (when I got my Rainbow last year) that its been a great help!
Anyway, my lil'guy, Tiny, has just shed, which is great, He's growing so much! (4 and a half ft!) however, when I checked him out to admire his new paint job and iridescence, I noticed something was a miss with his head scales. Literally! Take a look at these pictures please;

From the looks of things, he's lost a scale on his head. I don't know how, and as far as i know, scales don't grow back. I'm not ridiculously worried as I know this will almost definitely not affect his health (still ever-so inquisitive!) but, I just wanted you guys to have a look, and lemme know if this is just a missing scale and if/when it will heal up?
Many thanks in advance!
Adam and Tiny :)

Hmm, I can't see the pictures from where I am right now. I will send a link home and check it out this weekend for you though!

It looks like a dropped scale to me as well. I've seen it happen before, and it is usually the result of a bad shed. Just apply a dab of Polysporin to the area to make sure it does not get infected, and it should heal with time and sheds, provided the humidity is kept high enough. Nothing really to worry about so long as you handle it as noted. Good luck!
