It took us until September, but our team of crack employees finally delivered our first litter of 2015.

On September 2, Almandine delivered a whopping litter of 26 healthy baby Brazilians. This beats her previous litter in 2013 by six babies, and marks our largest litter ever. She was again bred by Scarface, as easy choice given the quality of their prior offspring.

Here is the enclosure as I found it that evening, not long after she dropped. At this point, only early explorers were out and about:

Here is the enclosure 90 minutes later, when I finally started processing everyone. By now, all but three babies were out and about:

Mom and babies are doing well. I will throw up a few more shots over the next few weeks as I get the time.

26 babies?! Wow! I wouldn't know what to do if I looked in the enclosure to find 26 babies lol
