the brazilian from mason exotics feeds great ! its the other one (columbian) that i got from a shop that isnt .i had to get A GRIP and do my own "BRAINING" of a pinkie , as everyone i asked to do it, said " do you think im mad !".did it with a dart as advised, and borrowed the hubbys pliers ( he would kill me if he knew what they were for , told him it was to tighten something up on my car !) waiting as i write this to see the outcome .although he did do a hell of alot of smelling of it , and showed more interest than previously. i dont know if i actually got the brain cavity ,as i imagined it would be "mush" but was really just like watery puss. is it so watery the brain , or did i not puncture the right bit ???? fingers crossed peeps !

Hi
I use a mixture of eco earth, eco bark and moss mixed up as a substrate and cover the cooler half of the viv with it and provide 2 moist hides and 2 dry hides with my rainbows.
Re the non feeding - my young brb was a picky feeder - I increased the temps by just 1 degrees and she now feeds great and is always out when I am feeding wanting to feed, even when it is not her feed day. I feed all mine warm mice or rats and that seems to work better - my crb's will only take warm prey. My male caatinga will only eat mice (although took a rat first feed I had him) - he will now show no interest in rats but as soon as a mice is offered he strikes immeadiately. It's a bit of a pain as have to give him 2-3 XL mice rather than a Large rat weaner.
