Just registered tonight so thought it would be nice to introduce myself and my pets.
My name is martin and ive had pets all my life from living as a child with my parents to present day married with kids and my own house, always wanted to keep snakes but mum would never agree to the idea and my wife had a bit of a phobia of snakes so its been hard work to get one in the house but with the combined efforts of me and 2 of my lads weve managed it
My nephew had mentioned that the royal python he had he wanted to sell so thats the one I bought, his name is earl and he`s coming up to 3 yrs old(I say he but I actually have no idea what sex it is at the moment)
I also have 2 german shepherds nala and ghandi
That brings me onto the snake ive always wanted the brazilian rainbow boa which I will research with your help hopefully till I feel am ready to look after one and then the hardest bit will be persuading the wife to let me keep another lol
Look forward to speaking to you all very soon

Hiya and welcome. There's a wealth of info on this forum it's a bit quieter than some other forums, including www.theroyalpython.co.uk (our sister site), but people will always answer any questions you may have, so all you'd need to do is ask. |

Hi Martin, welcome to the forum! Enjoy your stay here. I really do hope that you'll be able to get a BRB, they are fantastic snakes with tons of personality....and I don't think you can find one more beautiful. Well, maybe you could....but...they are still one of the most gorgeous breed, in my humble opinion. Anyway, happy holidays, and hope to see you around here! |

Yes, I do. I have two top-notch pairs I'm setting up for 2011. The first of these adults I profiled last week on the pictures forum ("Topaz"), and her mate ("Vlad") will go up later today. Thanks for asking! |

That's great news. I'm a bit angry as non of my stuff turned up this week. It should all be here by next week and I can set up the rub. Fingers crossed I should be getting my girl next weekend. |
