oh I almost forgot, any tips on converting them to frozen, she has no intrest what so ever. This is the last question for now, I promise |

| hehe! questions for the win lol! other than jiggling a frozen/thawed around not really. defrost in warmer water and make sure the mouse/rat whatever is warm (not hot) when you present it. hold in forceps, jiggle by tail. if she doesnt eat it, wait a week and try again. keep this going and eventually she'll get the idea! they can go ages without food so dont worry about denying her a meal. if she's hungry, she'll eat it! good luck! :) |

| As Benji said, except that it should be hot rather than warm. Some snakes will only go for them when they're super warm. Also, try offering the meal at dusk, with the lights in the room dimmed or off. Good luck, and keep us posted! |

Marius never shows interest in a mouse that isn't hot to the touch. I always feed him last out of all my snakes, just so that I can make certain that his is really hot and hasn't been sitting in the water too long. I also dry the frozen/thawed prey as much as possible and smooth the hair back to normal before offering. I don't know why, but Marius seems to freak out if the mouse's hair is skewed out of place. Don't ask me, he's a strange one.  You could also try feeding a freshly killed mouse for a couple of weeks, then start offering an older frozen/thawed one to see how that goes. The big thing with BRBs is that they like to hunt their food. Definitely try the wiggling (just small wiggles, try to move it like a real mouse would move) and even pull it away from the snake. Sometimes if I bump Marius' sides very gently every now and then, it really gets him interested.....as if the mouse were bumping him and then trying to get away. Best of luck with getting your snake switched over. I am sure with diligence, you'll get it there.  |

| @snakesitter: cheers for that, ill try em hotter next time. ive always done em kinda luke warm then quickly blow dried em (rofl) but ill try em hotter all through next week. would you do that for all mice/pey or just pinkies? thanks for the tip :) |
