Hiya

I like to let earl (royal python) loose in the bath tub every now and then which he seems to really enjoy and was wondering if the brb`s like it also ?

Martin

Got a lovely royal python called earl, 2 brazilian rainbow boas called zeus and hera, a red tail cross boa constrictor called dorris and an albino burmese python called angel as well :-)

I let my Royal's in the bathtub as well, but I have never tried it with my rainbows. They are arboreal idk if they ever really swim that much.

Rainbows are extreamly good with water and yes they do love the water , Well i can say my girl loves to try and kill her prey in her water bowl and also eats underwater too , So the question to the answer is Yes they will be fine in the bath tub water just make sure you check temps of water before putting snakey in there.

Ash is correct, water temps are the big one.

However, also make ABSOLUTELY sure the tub has been rinsed clean of all chemicals before trying this. Rainbows drink a *lot*, and anything that was in the tub (soap, shampoo, cleaners) can wind up in the water and therefore in their body.

As a final and minor point (mostly to set the record straight for future readers), Brazilians are really a terrestial snake that occasionally climbs, mostly when younger.

Good luck,
