Hi all i have two BRB's and in both in seprate Rubs and the wood that they climb on in there after like 3 days it has some kind of green/blue fluffy mould on it i washed it off in the bath tub and dried it before putting back in there RUB'S but can this stuff be harmfull to my pair ?  |

Ha I'm one step ahead of you i already did the bleach stuff hence why i was cleaning it in the bath tub xD  . |

Anytime! If it gets to be a real problem, you can always try making a mild bleach solution and treating the wood with that. Just make sure to *thoroughly* rinse and dry afterward. In addition, letting the wood bake in hot sun for several hours sometimes helps. |

Thanks for you reply , the wood branches are bought from a reptile shop , but i think your right with the humidity thing that could make mould on the wood, i will just have keep cleaning it , just wanted to make sure that the mould was not harmfull for my two boa's.  |

Ash, was the wood treated/bought for pet use, or was it something you just borrowed from outside? Mold is often a byproduct of a rainbow's extremely humid environment, and as such harmless (though it should still be cleaned), but if your wood came from outside then there may be more cause for concern.... |
