Hi all i have two BRB's and in both in seprate Rubs and the wood that they climb on in there after like 3 days it has some kind of green/blue fluffy mould on it i washed it off in the bath tub and dried it before putting back in there RUB'S but can this stuff be harmfull to my pair ?

Ash, was the wood treated/bought for pet use, or was it something you just borrowed from outside? Mold is often a byproduct of a rainbow's extremely humid environment, and as such harmless (though it should still be cleaned), but if your wood came from outside then there may be more cause for concern....

Thanks for you reply , the wood branches are bought from a reptile shop , but i think your right with the humidity thing that could make mould on the wood, i will just have keep cleaning it , just wanted to make sure that the mould was not harmfull for my two boa's.

Anytime! If it gets to be a real problem, you can always try making a mild bleach solution and treating the wood with that. Just make sure to *thoroughly* rinse and dry afterward. In addition, letting the wood bake in hot sun for several hours sometimes helps.

Ha I'm one step ahead of you i already did the bleach stuff hence why i was cleaning it in the bath tub xD .
