I was just wondering what everyone thought of the Exo Terra Digital Thermometer and Hygrometer and Exo Terra Digital Thermometer ?? I seem to be not having much luck with them, I have 6 and they all seem to read at different temps/humidity levels, even when together - just wondering if this is my bad luck, or if this is a common problem? If so what does everyone else suggest using! I have all my heat mats connected to Habistats, so I know that my snakes are in no danger of been over/under heated, but like to keep an eye on the tank gradients too. Thank you |

I've not noticed any problems with my hygrometer or my 3 thermometers. They seem to be just fine |

My Hygrometer can be a bit tempramental, I susspect its the battery which isn't good as I have only had it a few months. I have the thermometer too but it seems to read a few degrees higher than all my others.
I don't pay much attention to the hygrometer, they are known to be quite inacurate. I use it as a rough guide only and go by conditions in the tank like condensation, damp substrate etc and have never had any problems. |
